Taqueria Las Palmas in Shelton

The food was good and appeared to be fresh. They have a large menu. They don't have air conditioning and they don't have windows that open...it was ridiculously hot in there. The service was good, nice people.

Fast service, simple menu, delicious food. Not much more you could ask for. Love the fish tacos. Try the lengua at least once, trust me. So tender.

Excellent Mexican food. I was even able to find something to please the picky kid. The atmosphere is a little tight but pretty nice. It's a great local spot.

Clean 3 🌟 Delicious 4 🌟. I had to pay. No more 🌟No. 2 burrito is more than enough and the hot sauces are way hot. If you haven't eaten here you missed out on a good thing

Just ordered a spicy pork burrito it was the worst Mexican burrito i have tasted in shelton the tortilla was wet and slimy and the spicy pork had a weird taste like it was bad. Don't eat burritos here yuck.

Best mexican food in town. Nice and cheap, quick, girl who works the counter is super cute. Plenty of reasons to keep me coming back. Oh and thier salsa is bomb AF. Go there. Now, put down your phone , grab your keys, and drive there right now. Its worth it.

Great service, decent food. Huge menu consisting of all your favorite Mexican dishes and more. The only draw-back for me was the quality of food...just so-so. It looked and tasted fine, but lacked the wow factor I savor in a dining establishment.

The beans unfortunatly tasted like an ashtray (I think they may have been a severely burnt batch). I did let the waiter know that they tasted badly. He told me "I know" and walked off. The rest of the meal was okay. Not great, but okay.

We always make time to eat at Las Palmas when we're in Shelton. Super authentic and delicious.

Update July 2019;Not good any longer. Bought two dinners of nicely presented food. Not inedible, but Taco Bell tastes better, what a disappointment. Best Mexican food I've had in Western Washington. Chunky pork in verde sauce plated with rice, beans and pico. Hot, lean and tender, served with a stack of hot tortillas. Excellent food, generous portions and friendly service with reasonable prices. I'll definitely return anytime I'm within 30 minutes of this place!

Took my Hispanic friends from Spokane there for his birthday. Arrived a little after noon and almost left because the place was far from elegant and no other customers but he wanted to give it a try because the menu on the wall was not the typical American-Mexican fare but more like what he would see in a nice non-tourist Mexican restaurant and had pictures of each type of dish. Soon after our arrival lots of other people came in and by the time our orders arrived, which wasn’t long, the place was filled. Most of the people were Hispanic.I was thinking the price was a bit high for Mexican food but it was served on a plate that was more of a platter and full, also hot. Surprisingly I ate it all. I came hungry and the food was so delicious I just kept on eating. We will be going back before my friends leave next week.

Large portions and normal pricing for a Mexican restaurant. They gave chips and salsa right away which was very crispy and flavorful. I got the Sope, taco y tostada with each of their meat options and thoroughly enjoyed it! The pork was my favorite since it was in a delicious sauce. The Sope and tostada were perfectly fried without being greasy to the touch - seriously amazing. My fiance got a wet burrito which was just okay. We expected a creamy cheese sauce on top like some other places have but it was just a thin sauce with a tiny bite to it. The inside also had a lot of beans which was overpowering the chicken. The staff was extremely nice - they held the door open for a teenager on crutches and complimentarily replaced another tables' burrito when a girl accidentally poured too much hot sauce.

I absolutely love the green chile pork plate here! Some of the most sabroso chile that I have had in my life! While some folks have said that it's "pricey", you pay for the quality, and it's great across the board at Las Palmas!

We stopped by for a quick lunch after a hike and received some of the best Mexican food we've ever had. We're just sad we can come here regularly as we're from out of town! I highly recommend you stop in
